What is LCM Performing Arts?

LCM Performing Arts is a community theater/instruction studio based in Bowling Green, KY. Lydia Cantrell-Montalvo (founder/director), started the company in July 2025 after completing her masters studies in May 2025. A Bowling Green native, Lydia has been heavily involved in the arts her whole life, and has always been on stage. "I have always loved performing and creating music. It's a universal language, something that brings people together." Originally a voice teacher, Lydia started teaching voice in 2022, but knew that there was more she could do for the community. "I knew I loved teaching voice, but I also loved theater and missed being on stage. After talking with friends and members of the community, I realized that there was more I could do than just teach voice." So she decided to turn her voice studio into a theater company. The goal? To create a safe space based on fairness and opportunity. "It's not about money or fame, it's about making theater enjoyable and safe."

Calling all choir teachers! Learn to get your singers' attention and help them create beautiful sounds like never before! Learn how to really use your conducting to guide your singers to do more with their voices as a group.

LCM Performing Arts Community Theater

All shows are open to the community, no matter what you do! Including opportunities for youth, teens, and adults!
